My name is Nikki.  I live in a small country town in the Southwestern part of Virginia.  I started writing as a teenager and I must admit I was not very good at then.  I have evolved over the years becoming better more precise and using imagery more.  I started this writing process as a way to end my depression.  For me it was easier to write my thoughts and feelings down instead of doing self-harm as I had done in the past.
