Black Velvet Rose: Book of Thorns

so many truths have fallen

between the cracks of my mind

living in a world i do not belong

appearances are one thing

when caged in the shadows of black

things done and words said

that should never have been

friends there and then gone

not caring if you were against a rock

and you, you stare into my bleeding eyes

with your holier than thou smile
