Black Velvet Rose: Book of Thorns
Smothered by a warm mist
Hues of pale pink and baby blue persist
In this entwined tryst
Of lovers amongst the mist.
Running through pink clouded sighs
Kissed by the pale moonrise
A familiar song plays
Laden with a blue haze.
An unquenched thirst
For language conversed
By love and lust
Expressed to the fullest.
She, a lovely star on high
Milky Way for her thigh
Sits longingly waiting for the fireflies
To sparkle the darkened skies.
He, the keeper of stars
Writing centuries of memoirs
Looks down upon his precious wife
Her beauty sparkling in the nightlife.
These two entwined souls from birth
With each millennium a rebirth
A love so clearly defined
By celestial lust aligned.
